Northwest Native American Tribes: Chinook, Tillamook, Kwakiutl, Nez Perce, Seletz, Coos, Paiute, Lower Umpqua, Umatilla, Warm Springs, Coquille, Klamath, Clatsop, Clackamas

We are specifically studying original tribe locations prior to westward movement and present day locations; tribe's job/positions in the community, food, shelter, clothing, social structures, language, art, music, and legends/story telling.

Key Questions

Any of the above described topics, but more specifically legends from a confederated tribe.

Expected Outcomes

A presenter that is a member of a confederated tribe from: Chinook, Tillamook, Kwakiutl, Nez Perce, Seletz, Coos, Paiute, Lower Umpqua, Umatilla, Warm Springs, Coquille, Klamath, Clatsop, Clackamas, or directly connected to the culture of a Northwest Native American tribe.
